Dear Parents,

Welcome to Kindergarten! We are looking forward to meeting you and working with you this school year.

There are several items we would like to obtain for your child’s use in kindergarten. We will be sending two separate lists this year to help reduce the cost. Students with a last name that begins A-L will purchase items from list A and students with a last name that begins M-Z will purchase supplies from list B. Some supplies may need to be replenished during the school year.

Please send in the following items labeled with your child’s name:

Backpack or book bag (large enough for library books and papers, no rolling backpacks please)
Water bottle

List A (A-L)

1 box of tissues
1 box of baby wipes
1 box of quart size Ziploc bags
1 pack expo markers
1 package small paper plates
an extra change of underwear, pants, shirt and socks (sealed in a Ziploc bag with child’s name written on it)

List B (M-Z)

1 box of tissues
1 box of baby wipes
1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags
1 pack expo markers
1 package large paper plates
an extra change of underwear, pants, shirt and socks (sealed in a Ziploc bag with child’s name written on it)

Donation items ( we would greatly appreciate any products that you are able to provide for our classroom. We will use many of the items to complete class projects. )

· Art materials (ex. Googly eyes, feathers, pom poms, pipe cleaners, etc.)

· Velcro ( with adhesive backing)

· Magnetic tape

· Yarn or fabric scraps

· Old magazines (appropriate for children’s viewing)

· Play-dough

· Washable ink pads (all colors)

· Stationary or Envelopes (for the WritingCenter)

· Stickers (alphabet and assorted)

· Paper Towels

· Large pink erasers

· Used greeting card covers (for the WritingCenter)

· Treasure chest items (small “Happy Meal” toys, candy, etc.)
