Transportation for Students



The following rules are established to regulate conduct of school bus passengers:
1. Line up at the bus stop. Remain out of the roadway until the bus comes to a complete stop.
2. Enter the bus one at a time; go directly to a seat and be seated.
3. Remain seated until the bus stops; then, enter the aisle and walk directly to the exit door.
4. Loud talking, profanity, scuffling, throwing things, smoking, standing or changing seats create a safety hazard and are examples of misconduct. These examples of misconduct will not be permitted.
5. Large objects, trash, glass articles, and the eating of food are not permitted.

When a rider is involved in misconduct, the rider will be reported to the principal by the driver who will submit a Bus Discipline Referral to the principal. If it is determined that the student is guilty of misconduct, the school principal will take the following action:

1. The rider and the parent or guardian will be given notice and a warning.
2. The parent or guardian will be required to attend a conference with the school principal and the student. Depending on the offense the student may receive a five day suspension of riding privileges.
3. Upon a second offense of misconduct, the rider could be denied transportation services for a period of one/two weeks.
4. Upon a third offense of misconduct, the rider could be denied transportation services for the remainder of the school year.
5. Any rider may be suspended from further bus privileges at any time if the offense committed is serious enough to require such action for the safety of the other riders.

Las siguientes reglas estan establecidas para regular la conducta de los pasajeros de los buses:
1. Formar linea en la parada del bus. Permanesca fuera de la via hasta que el bus pare por complete.
2. Subir al bus uno solo a la vez; ir directamente a una silla y permanecer sentado.
3. Permanesca sentado hasta que el bus pare; entre el pasillo del bus y camine directamente a Ia puerta de salida.
4. Hablar muy fuerte, vulgaridad, tirar cosas, fumar, jugar, pararse y cambiarse de silla crea un peligro de seguridad y son ejemplos de mala conducta. Estos ejemplos de mala conducta no son permitidos.
5. Objetos grandes, basura, articulos de vidrio, y corner no se permite en el bus.

Cuando un pasajeros esta envuelto en mala conducta, el pasajeros sera reportado a Ia principal por el chofer quien pasará una Orden de Disciplina de Bus. Si se determina que el estudiante es culpable de mala conducta, la principal tomará la siguientes acción. 1. Al pasajeros y padres o guardianes se les dara una nota de aviso.
2. Los padres o guardianes estaran requeridos para atender una conferencia con la principal de la Escuela y el estudiante. Dependiendo de la ofensa el estudiante puede ser suspendido del bus por cinco dIas.
3. Si hay una segunda ofensa de mala conducta, se Ic negará servicios de Transportación al estudiante por un periodo de uno o dos sernanas.
4. Si hay una tercera ofensa de mala conducta, se le negará servicios de transportación al estudiante por el resto del aflo.
5. Cualquier pasajero puede ser suspendido de los privilegios del bus a cualquier tiempo si la ofensa cometida es suficientemente seria para requerir ta! acción por la seguridad de los otros pasajeros.
