WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. We are very excited to welcome our new Principal, Dr. Rodriguez. We are looking forward to an exciting school year!

CHARACTER PILLAR OF THE MONTH

Each month we will be highlighting a different character pillar. The month of November's character pillar is "TRUSTWORTHINESS." The color for this pillar is blue. Here are a few things to discuss with your child about being trustworthy.

* Be honest.

* Don't deceive, cheat or steal.

* Be reliable- do what you say you'll do.

* Have the courage to do the right thing.

* Build a good reputation.

* Be loyal- stand by your family, friends and country.

INTOUCH ONLINE

Dear Parent/Guardian:

This school year Neabsco Elementary will pilot a program called Intouch Online. This program will allow parents to check on attendance, grades, test scores, homework assignments, and other information pertaining to their child. Parents will be able to send a message to any staff member as well as update their child’s personal information.

Intouch Online is accessible through the school website and has the capability to be viewed in several languages. If you are interested in using this valuable tool, please contact our office at 703.670.2147 so that we may process your registration information. The registration process requires two days. Once your registration has been processed, you may come to the school and present photo identification in order to receive your School Fusion pass code. This pass code provides access to modify certain data for both you and your child. Please keep the pass code confidential for the protection of your student’s data. This pass code will follow your child as long as he attends any Prince William County School.

Our staff is very excited about the Intouch Online program. We hope that you will take advantage of this service. Should you have any questions, please contact our office.
